THE RITUAL OF RESET

Our vision

Skincare as it was originally intended: supporting the skin’s natural processes.

Skinling isn't just a skin cleansing tool – it's a philosophy. Specifically, the trust in the skin barrier developed over millions of years, and the principle that "less is more." Instead of applying ever more unpronounceable chemical complexes to the skin, our motto is: out of the skin, not in. Skinling cleanses the skin deeply, without introducing any harmful substances.

With us, you wont have to constantly repurchase. The skinliner is made to support your skin health for a lifetime, because we dislike consumable products and single-use packaging. We rely on local production in Solingen, Germany, for the highest quality and exceptionally short supply chains.

This is us - the Skinlings

Healthy skin isn't solely a matter of skincare routine, but rather the interplay of countless factors. Besides genetics and diet, external stressors such as chemical-laden skincare products, poor air quality and pollution play a crucial role. We all share the understanding that relieving the skin's burden and unclogging the pores is the most effective way to support our skin barrier.

A reinterpretation of the strigil

Over 2,000 years ago, it was a social ritual to open the pores in steam baths, apply oil, and then deeply cleanse the skin. Yes, soap existed back then, but athletes in particular preferred the strigil for body care, as this ritual combined oil cleansing, exfoliation, and gentle skin stimulation. With the fall of the Roman Empire, this essential skincare tool disappeared. The Skinliner is the modern interpretation of the ancient strigil, which has ensured healthy skin for generations—and is needed today more than ever.
