The inventor

The rediscovery of deep pore cleansing began around 1980. In my grandparents' sauna, my father noticed that he didn't feel completely clean after using it. Running his fingernails over his skin, he found that dead skin cells and dirt were constantly being removed from his pores. This motivated him to research a tool that would allow him to exfoliate large areas of skin. The journey began with blunt kitchen knives, whose sharpness he initially adjusted manually. Over the years, the tool was refined until its current form emerged. The curved scraper shape allows access to almost all parts of the body, from delicate areas like between the toes to larger areas like the back.

My father shared his invention with a few acquaintances and good friends, but the general public never found out about it.

When I learned about the study results from Charité in Berlin on the proven detoxification of the skin through Skinliner, my desire to make Skinling a ritual again grew.
