A reinterpretation of the strigil
Over 2,000 years ago, it was a social ritual to open the pores in steam baths, apply oil, and then deeply cleanse the skin. Yes, soap existed back then, but athletes in particular preferred the strigil for body care, as this ritual combined oil cleansing, exfoliation, and gentle skin stimulation. With the fall of the Roman Empire, this essential skincare tool disappeared. The Skinliner is the modern interpretation of the ancient strigil, which has ensured healthy skin for generations—and is needed today more than ever.
